Everyone seems to blame the internet for “a rise in misinformation." But is the internet really to blame?
Do we even believe more “misinformation” now, than in the past?
Recently, Sam Harris was on the Jordan Peterson podcast, and they discussed this very topic. I disagreed with almost everything Sam Harris said (shocker).
Here were my thoughts:

Alternative media by censored people is what confirmed my deepest suspicions that something was really wrong when covid hit. Living in a blue state, surrounded by scared, masked people I had no one to talk with about how I felt and thought. I have been suspicious of government and big pharma for over 40 years but it was a big pill to swallow learning how deep the corruption had gone. Without alternative media I don't know what I would have done. No censorship! I will use my own mind and resources to filter out the BS from the more truthful information.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Jooml
Liked before listening to a single word, just because Sam Harris. I usually do my best not to be a tribal bastard like this, but with him I'm not even ashamed :)
