I used horse paste in 2021 when I caught Delta. So did my husband and eldest son. Then in July 2022 I caught Omicron, and by then I had Iverheal 12 mg tablets from an Indian supplier. I used those. For me, at 150 lbs, 36 mg/day produced dramatic relief of symptoms in about 8 hours. Best of all, ZERO side effects, and I tend to get every possible weird side effect from most meds. I cannot prove that ivermectin sped up my recovery but I use it now for any respiratory illness. It just does not seem to have a down side.
Here's a piece of information about a detail of your article, namely the mechanisms of antiviral action of azithromycin.
An interesting hypothesis is that in order to replicate, some viruses use bacteria inside our cells, such as Mycoplasma Pneumoniæ or Prevotella for instance.
Hence, the destruction of those intracellular bacteria by specific antibiotics (macrolides or cyclines) such as azithromycin would likely slow down viral replication.

If I had to bet my life on whether or not ivermectin saves lives among COVID patients, I would confidently bet that it DOES save lives. The overall mortality results for ivermectin in the 18 published gold-standard randomized clinical trials to date, totaling >7000 COVID patients, were: 67 deaths in ivermectin groups vs. 102 deaths in control groups (out of about ~3600 each), which amounts to about 1 in 3 deaths being prevented with ivermectin.
In fact, this is almost certainly a tremendous UNDERESTIMATE of ivermectin's effectiveness against COVID death. The clinical trials conducted BEFORE ivermectin became politicized showed a massive 69% reduction in COVID deaths. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/rmv.2265. But after ivermectin became politicized, almost all large trials conducted since then: a) delayed ivermectin until 5-7 days after symptoms started, b) only gave ivermectin for 3 days, c) gave ivermectin in isolation outside of the protocols that almost all ivermectin proponents use, and d) enrolled very low-risk patients who mostly didn't need ivermectin to begin with. In contrast, the extremely successful clinical trial of Paxlovid (0 deaths Paxlovid vs. 13 deaths placebo) began Paxlovid an average of 3 days after symptoms started, gave Paxlovid for 5 days twice a day, and Paxlovid itself is a COMBINATION drug.

To the matter at hand, it somewhat shocks me that a number of prominent members of "Team Reality" also decry IVM. that is in some contrast to what is (at least to me) obvious reasons to AT LEAST not dispel its possibility.
The power of corruption may, at times seems overwhelming. But in the end, truth will prevails as it does not require an extremely costly and sustained propaganda to prevail.
