You may have noticed that a certain segment of American politicians will (1) announce that they tested positive for COVID and (2) follow up with some expression of gratitude for the vaccines.
This is a collection of those pronouncements. They are relatively easy to find. You just have to do a search on Twitter with variations of “tested positive grateful vaccinated” or “tested positive thankful,” etc.
Most of the tweets that come up are from politicians or (increasingly) people making fun of the politicians.
When you see all the tweets together, it definitely looks like they are part of a coordinated campaign.
Almost all the politicians were Democrats. Only two were Republican.

Last but not least
Albert Bourla is not a politician (or is he?) but we have to include him because he’s the CEO of Pfizer:
Here’s how I read this:
“I sell juice that’s supposed to help with COVID. It does something positive: trust me. The trials that we paid for, prove it. Even though I got COVID, it’s just a light version of COVID, so it doesn’t mean the juice isn’t working. And even though the juice is doing such a good job, I’m still gonna take this OTHER juice, Paxlovid, also brought to you by Pfizer.
Get your juices today! Paxlovid is only $530 a pop, but it’s FREE to you because the U.S. GOVERNMENT WILL PAY FOR IT! Health insurers too.
And I don’t mean that you’re actually paying for it in one way or another through higher taxes or health insurance premiums or inflation. IT’S JUST FREE!
Thank God for Pfizer, the U.S. government, and health insurance companies: everyone’s favorite institutions.”
Also reminder from April 2021 when Bourla said that their Phase 3 study in South Africa showed 100% efficacy in preventing COVID:
That aged well.
Are these people ever going to realize how ridiculous they sound? And how long are people going to keep announcing that they’ve tested positive?
If there are any politicians that I’ve missed, post them in the comments below.
I've been waiting to get COVID so that I can be sassy like "I am grateful to not be vaccinated nor boosted so my symptoms are mild" but for some gosh darn reason I just haven't gotten COVID yet. Thanks, Dr. Zelenko.
They're reciting The Covid Prayer (or The Covid Catechism).
